Price is Right

If Elvira is co-mascot of ARAWA, then surely Vincent Price must be somewhere on the board of directors. I'm not sure when Mr Price first left his indelible mark on my young psyche, but it must have had something to do with MJ's Thriller. Growing up I wasn't allowed to watch contemporary horror movies because my parents thought they were too scary. So every Halloween we'd watch the Edgar Allen Poe series he did, like Pit and the Pendulum, House of Usher, and The Raven. It was this introduction that sparked my lifelong love and fondness for any and all Vincent Price related works. Like Adam West or William Shatner, Vincent seemed self aware of his quiche value and fully capitalized on it. It really isn't Halloween around these parts without a touch of Price

The Monster Club is a classic, campy british Horror flick. Absolutely no violence, plenty of black humour and nice(albeit dated)music. If you like English horror movies this one is a must-see. You can download the movie here
