Slow Dance

Though this song is probably a come hither to any ladies that might like to do the horizontal tango with Mr. Jay, I like to think it has an another, more supernatural inference. Every time it comes on, with its lumberingly slow rhythm, percolating bubbles of keys and ominous synth harpsichord riffs, I can't help but think of the spirits (particualarly those from The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland) locked in an eternal dance, hands on each other's shoulders and hips, spinning and spinning away through time. Not the worst way to spend an eternity, depending on your partner of course.
