Clio, Now More Than Ever.
Clio returns! Unfortunately my dream about her songs all being about body parts (check out Eyes and Faces) didn't pan out, but I'll get over it. In '86, Clio and Roberto Ferrante (Pineapples!) teamed up once again for another synthtastic piece of perky italo this time under the guise of Glam. Strangely the a side entitled More Than Ever (Club Mix) is a completely different song, vocals by a man, maybe Ferrante himself, with a different tune and lyrics and its not even very good. But who cares about these mysteries when the b side is where its at anyway? Clio on vocals and Ferrante on keys and production... it doesn't get much better than that in my book.
Glam- More Than Ever (Fashion Mix)
By the way check out that thing to the right there that says Interconnectedness and has the cube and all the spaceships. Its a feed of my tumblr page where you can see a hodgepodge of what I might be digging around the old interweb. Ees fun.

Clio, Glam, hell the whole damn blog (Dream Express' "I'm A Lion" was ill) is the jizzy-jam.
Keep up the good work, son.
Clio and I are pleased as punch that you guys are enjoying this one!
I hope thats a typo Greg, though I am a bit of a shit.
oh man.. this sounds great.
The vocals and echo effects are great!
This song is amazing! Many thanks for the introduction and all the great Clio you've shared. Also really enjoying the interconectedness thing. G'day.
killing me! this is awesome-ness!
yeah good tune not as oodas the other Clio ones in my opinion but worthwhile. I always seem to hear a little grab of Faces in this one too - the little keyboard riff.
Have you heard any of the other ones that are on dsicogs as being ferrante tunes? (cover of light my fire and Twang single?) they seem quite rare. Maybe not so italo-ey
YIIIIIIIIIEHHHAA!! :)
i came!
