AM/FM

Produced in 1983 by Pierluigi Giombini (Gazebo's "I Like Chopin" and Ryan Paris' "La Dolce Vita"), and featuring a then 18 year old Natasha King on sung and rap vocals, AM/FM is is the jam! A little italo, a little breakdance, and when she "raps", its not completely embarrassing. Unlike some people. Sorry Blondie.

here it goes:

AM FM - Natasha King
Ooh!
Mmm
Well,I say Mr. Speaker could you help say?
I would like to send a message to a curly hair,
And he’s easy coordinated and he's all to blame for the crush of my love and driving me insane,
But i forgive him, but i forgive him, i forgive him, i forgive him, i forgive him, oh yeah
i wanna be friends, i wanna be friends , yeah , yeah ,now we’re gonna repeat it, repeat it all again

I say Mr. Speaker could you help say?
I would like to send a message to a curly hair,
And he’s easy coordinated and he's all to blame for the crush of my love and driving me insane

You got to have drum though,
Never live without random,
On this modulation,
Never live with frequency,
We can stay the night without a bed,
We can stand a month with the bread,
Hit can go and get us on the sand,
Music sounds damn needed, not so bad

AM, stick my ears to the radio
FM, got to switch it on
AM , stick my ears to the jingle
FM, and the thing goes on

Break, break

I say hi, Mr. Speaker could you help say?
I would like to send a message to a curly hair,
And he’s easy coordinated and he's all to blame for the crush of my love,
Oh, yes, it is!

Some people have style
And never live without border
I do have an illusion (ah ah ah ah ah)
Ah, never teaches all ecstasy
Ooh, uh
We don’t care about having a past
We don’t give a damn about the flirts
Hey, hit can go and gets us on the sand
Music sounds damn needed and not all so bad
Yeah, yeah, yeah

AM, stick my ears to the radio
FM, got to switch it on
AM, stick my ears to the jingle
FM, and the thing goes on

break, break

(I've tried to do my best)

Hello breakdance lovers,
I was also madly looking for the lyrics of this song when I came across this site. I happen to have a version of a 7" that has the lyrics printed on the back of it, however, the lyrics are not fully written. Thanks for the previous poster for the beginning of the song, which is quite trick to understand. I'll post what's on the backsleeve of the the 7" version of the song:

You’ve got to have rhythm
Never live without random
On this modulation
Never leave this frequency
We can stay a night without a bed
We can stand a month without the bread
Heat and cold can’t get us down or sad
Music is something we need so bad

(Chorus)
AM stickin’ my to the radio
FM go to switch it on
AM stickin’ my to the jingle
FM and the beat goes on

Some people have stardom
Never live without boredom
Others have religion
Never reach their ecstasy
We don’t care about havin’ a pet
We don’t care a damn about the flirts
Hate and blood can’t get us down or sad
Music is something we need so bad.

Thanx for all.

Hi everyone, I am Natasha king (Nati Maimone) and I wrote the rap. It goes like this:
Well,I say Mr. Speaker could you help me a sec?
I would like to send a message to a curly head,
AC's his coded name and he's all to blame for the crushing of my love and the driving me insane,
But I forgive
I forgive, I forgive, I forgive, I forgive him,
You wanna be friends? Repeat it all again
